Sony Ericsson M600, handheld in a cellphone
February 6th, 2006

Sonny Ericsson today announced their new UMTS phone and messaging device, M600. It is a tri-band GSM/GPRS device rolled into an extremely stylish and slim package. It is based on the Symbian OS 9.1. A touch screen with 240*320 pixels and 262K colors should be enough for every geek.

“New push email applications, remote synchronisation and expandable memory give owners a UMTS phone and email connectivity in a device that easily fits in their pocket - at just 15mm thick, it is one of the slimmest business UMTS devices of its kind available.“ It was made for multitasking, so you can browse the internet while making a voice call. It has 80 Mb of memory which can be expanded with an additional 64 Mb Memory Stick Micro™. Handwriting recognition software is included. Engadget and Sony Ericsson.
